Actress Ann Hamilton was born in Orsett, Essex, UK 5 July 19??
She was seen regularly in the duo's BBC shows.
She first met Eric & Ernie in 1961, eventually appearing on their final
ATV shows.
If a woman was required in a scene it was usually her. She was Eric and
Ernie's resident glamorous woman who portrayed many roles - including:
Hettie Benson, the Queen of France, Maid Marion, a shop assistant,
au pairs, nurses, serving wenches, secretaries and sex objects.
In 1963, Ann appeared as Lee Smith in an episode of the ITV
Play of the Week, entitled Danger Zone.
During the 1970's she made cameo appearances in the classic BBC TV
comedy Whatever Happened to the Likely Lads.
Ann retired from show business in 1987.
