Dick Hills was born on 17th January 1926.

Dick Hills was the writing partner of Sid Green both of whom wrote extensively for Eric
Morecambe and Ernie Wise for their first starring show Two Of A Kind (1961) for ATV and
subsequently for The Morecambe & Wise Show (1968) in its first series. The duo left
Morecambe and Wise in 1968, after Eric had a heart scare, to concentrate on other writing
tasks.

Later, they both returned to write again for Eric and Ernie in 1978.

Occasionally he even participated in some sketches too.
